9c kit and uphills

Everyone is trying to help. it is confusing at first. What everyone wants to know, what do you expect or wanting. Money, acceptable wheel size, do you need more than one gear, weight, how steep are the hills and how fast is fast. Are you willing to help the motor up a hill with hard peddling. Everyone wants numbers and they can zero in on the target setup.

The most power and speed is with a heavy motor in the smallest wheel with a high amp, voltage controller and battery. Not accounting for aero drag.

1. Is money important? Do you have a limit or a budget? If so then spend your money where you get the most performance.

2. Is weight important? Powerful equipment is heavy and takes up space.

3. What do you need more hill climbing or speed.

4. Want something like your friend or better. What does he have, motor, amps, volts, wheel size.

5. Distance or riding time?

Only way to make a motor run cooler is to cut back the power and keep it above 50% of it's speed range. Swapping volts for amps or any other rumored trick does not work. Not accounting for cooling aids.
