9pin motor compability

I have an old cargobike with damaged display. Spareparts are nowhere to be found

I have connected an unmarked KT display, controller and PAS to the existing battery and motor. Everything boots upp but the motor is hardly moving and just making strange noise.
The cable fits fins, 9 pins standard connection. I thougt every motor with 9 pin can work with all controllers?

Apparently not..
Is this fixable?

Sorry guys for not searching before postting.. I think that I can get this working by changing hall sensors wires color!
