Adjustable Chargers?

I have a couple of Luna adjustable mini-chargers (52v) that you set for 80/90/100% charge on a rotary switch and forget about it. It turns off at the appropriate voltage but doesn't balance unless the 100% is chosen. I went looking for another adjustable charger (other than Luna this time) with the same features and cannot find anything. Yes, there is the Grin Satiator or whatever it is called but like so many Grin products it's way over priced. What else is out there? What am I missing?

Most consumer chargers have a potentiometer on the inside to control the voltage if you open it up.

The more professional equivalent is just to buy a bench power supply with a face that supports charging to various voltages controlled by a knob or keypad.

Get yourself a commercial grade Meanwell HLG-320H-54A and a wattmeter as a display.

It’s a fanless, fully potted adjustable power supply that can go from approx 52-59V and adjustable up to 6A output.

I have mine set to 57.4V and 4A (the limit for a standard battery charge plug) but have had it up to 58.8 and 6A with no issues.

The charge profile is constant current (4A) and then constant voltage when the voltage gets to 57.4. Current drops to zero at the end so it’s probably safe if you forget about it.

Pffft! Thanks @amberwolf. I had a brain fart and forgot to work the search before posting.

the video you are looking for is: Is this HGJT cheap chinease adjustable battery charger better then the Grin Cycle Satiator?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZWv5iWeHZI&t=1s

Also no CE certified chargers have potentiometers on the PCB, only non certified chinease chargers, usually the ones in metal cases.

8A looks pretty weak. If I were to upgrade from the cheap Chinese ones I think I'd try a bigger one like:

Or the bench charger faceplate route:
