axel width cute Q100 front hub and how to measure axle width

Am I correct to assume that the Q100 from bmsbattery has a 12mm axle width?

Also how does one measure the width of the axle dropouts on ones front fork? I measured perpendicular to the straight sections of my front forks axle slots and it measured about10mm. Will the q100 fit? Bike is a specialized crossroads elite.

The Cute has a 12 m/m axle and the drop-out width is 100 m/m.

The axle of the Q100 is a 12mm that has the sides cut to 10mm to not turn in the dropouts so it will fit in your fork

It's not just the width between the drop-outs that counts. You also need to consider the width of the forks above the drop-outs because some forks have inboard drop-outs, others have them in line with the middle of the tube.

If you're unsure, take off your front wheel and make a photo of your dropouts from the front.
