Hello,

I am familiar electronic designing since it is my job, but designing a high power charger is everything but simple! (I am most familiar with nA/µA)

I buy this bike

, a NC RH205S motor, I am going to buy 64 A123 26650 cells (16S4P - 10Ah/48V), and I'am checking a ballancer board. I will also try to build my own sinusoidal driver.

But I really need help for the charger, how to convert 230V/AC to something like 60V/DC + CC/CV charger, without using a huge and expensive transformer?

Should I directly use a diode rectifier bridge + DC/DC converter ? Any designing error would conduct me to DIE!

I hope there will be some electronic engineers on this forum :)
Thank you !

you could start by reading the threads related to the modification of the Meanwell supplies.

There are schematics in the threads somewhere

The meanwell supplies, modified are what many of us use, modified to reduce the max current rating
