CanBus - UART Battery question

Hi,

Apologies if this is an obvious question:-

Cutting a long story short I have two bafang 43V batteries both the same model number but it turns out one is a Canbus and the other is UART. The Canbus battery is the one that came with my bike and is currently only charging to about 50% - What would I need to do to convert the UART battery to a Canbus so I can use it on my bike is it as simple as swapping the BMS?

Most likely that would work but the boards may be different size and need some work to fit.

I don't even have a SOC meter on my Bafangs, so any battery works. I have a separate battery meter.
