This is a new build I'm doing for a friend, Crystalyte 4080, 18 Fet sine wave, CA V3, and 58 volt 14S pack.
This is a 55kmh set up.
The kit is brand new and no matter what I do the controller cuts the speed to 32kmh.
I have done throttle direct to controller and through CA, the CA has no limits programmed. No joy
The controller does not have a programming connection so I opened up the controller and soldered in a programming header.
My bike has the same controller, motor, battery and CA V3.
I tried new motor on my controller/bike, 55kmh.
I tried my motor on new controller, 32kmh.
I tried my CA with new controller and motor, 32kmh.
The 18 Fet Crystalyte on my bike does have a programming connection, so I have a programming cable and software.
I tried the programming header on the new controller, no joy, the new controller wouldn't take an upload. I noticed the main chips on the two controllers are completely different numbers.
I'm sure it is something in the controller but I have no idea where to go.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
