Bought this scooter at a recycling place for 3€, gonna equip it with el cheapo parts. It would be nice to know what kind of scooter this exactly is so I can guess if I can use the throttle and voltmeter. On the throttle parts it reads QiuBo but I cant seem to find it.
After building my last board I had enough leftover parts to give this scooter a new motor.
Right now it is running on a 4s lipo from my MTB with the 90a HK boat esc and a 5065 alien motor. I used the servo tester mod to get the throttle signal from the original twist throttle to my esc. Building something with so much space for the electronics was a real pleasure, coming from my longboard where everythingn had to be so compact. I have to say, after some problems with getting the boat esc to start up properly with the tester and then with the twist throttle, it works great now and can be used with or without electrical braking. The braking and acceleration feel great and this thing is more fun to ride than I thought it would be. The small motor delivers a lot of power in combination with the boat esc, it could work well on a board as well.
