So far, only static field FEA simulations have been possible in Emetor. A couple of months ago, we have started the development of a new dynamic FEA solver for Emetor in close collaboration with Vladimir Kuptsov, author of the MotorAnalysis software. Besides static FEA simulations, this new solver is also capable of dynamic FEA simulations, taking into account the influence of rotor motion, external electrical circuits (passive components as well as electronic switches and diodes), and skewed geometries. This new solver can bring Emetor simulations to a completely new level............
