Greetings all,

I have a tongxin nano motor in my Brompton bike which I use with the basic controller sent by OutRider.

My controller suddently stopped working and smells like a burnt toast. Not sure how it happened but it is probably due to the fact I was trying a new battery with some connector which kept getting off and making sparks when getting plugged back on. It ended up blowing the fuse on the battery (30A) so I guess it may have burnt the controller in the same way?

Anyway my questions:

- Any idea the component which may have been burnt and is it worth it to try to fix it? Pictures attached. Lowerleft of the picture, the body of the resistance has a burnt appearance (the whole body is black) but seems to still work (measured at 142 Ohms). However the capacitor next to it smells bad. I suppose the capacitor overheating may be the cause of the burnt aspect of the resistance.

- If I have to buy a new controller, any recommendation of a good controller to go with my Tongxin Nano? I only use Pedelec.

thanks for the advice!
