GT "Triple Triangle" and other bikes!

I rode one today looking for a candidate for my frocking UGLY ebike build, its cromo
I test rode it and it seemed as tho when I leaned back to go UP a curb, it felt as if I went further back then usual.
Would I be imagining things, or just over compensating on the light GT bike because I ride the heavy FS ebike for the last few years.

They are great frames.

old school mountain bike frames did tend to put some weight over the rear tire to aid in traction climbing the steep stuff. But I've never noticed the GT frams to be tail heavy. I guess you are just not used to it.
