Well at least he demonstrated motor can self destruct rather casually by freewheeling it into the blue. Damage looks like more centrifugal in nature different than bearing failure. We think rotor expanded under side load and magnets were pressed outwards.

Yes that is 100% what I would expect. Bearing failure would not be something I would expect.

Managed to get another kit done. I ordered parts long before the pandemic and they were 26 weeks lead time.. So I have a couple kits to sell off this one is pending cash but its done. Another one we might build up but it's an insane amount of work for a small amount of profit. So I might just sell off the rest of the parts for this inverter design.

Yes its mine. Its sat a lot for the last 2 years while I worked on other things like the dirtbike and Axiom.

Soon I should have a surprise with the CRX.

Hi Everyone,

I have 6 of these IGBTs in stock the 1MBI800U4B-120 parts new in a box I can sell at my cost. ($295 ea USD) I have multiple controller projects on the go right now and they use different parts so I don't know if I will use these.

I also have a few boards I can put another kit together if someone would like.
