Hyperion Charger set up

So I basically have several hundred 12V 2A Little Power bricks. So I Figured, and Tested that filling a power strip up with them, and wiring the output in parallel = a pretty mean, and cheap 12V or 24V (If the result is wired in series) power supply. I'm of the opinion the setup, although kinda ugly with a mess of wires, is inherently safer then a regular battery charger, since those are much higher power, and thus will fail in a more spectacular manner. 2 power strips with a row of 12V bricks, hell if one fails I Might not even notice. ANyone here ever run a setup like this, or have an opinion on it?
