take out the motor and then install the motor on a 29er mountain bike wheel? i should right? if so, what size spokes do i need to get to hook the 29inch wheel to the motor?

You will need to have the motor, bike and rim in hand, or to know their exact dimensions, to calculate precise spoke length. Then, it is better to use a slow motor to fit in a 29er wheel. If the motor is fast it will have poor performance and efficiency in a large wheel.
