jst-xh pin removal tool?

i use those jst-xh connectors quite a lot and hate using new ones everytime i change a connection.
is there a safe way to remove the male connectors other then fiddeling with a needle?
is there a commercial tool to buy?

Best tool I've found is very small flat blade screwdriver - like sold for eyeglasses. Look for one that's practically the same width as the plastic slot of the JST housing. Easily aligns over the tab and just push down. Works like a charm.

Needles & picks miss the metal tang more than they find it.

thanks. i may cut down a 1.5mm screw driver down to 1mm. or i will go the cheap route and take a drill and my dremel and cut that down. the material has to be very hard otherwise it will bend.

In case anybody ever looks at this thread again, I found a great tool is the side of a razor blade. The fat 'handle' part fits exactly into the JST pin slots. Rock back and forth and the pins slide out with only a little aggravation.

After switching a few plugs like this, I have now realized this method only really works on the looser ones. I actually ended up cutting a tight plug apart to avoid damaging the wire terminations
