I don't use a bms but I have a neptune lite connected:

It's a bluetooth device that track cell voltage overtime. I left it connected all the time and check from time to time how the cells are performing.

Ps: i have spot welder at home. If you want I can do it for you as u have a mini pack

Will see once I decide which cells I am going to use. My batteries are all running fine at the moment but I am hoping to get early retirement soon so will have more time on my hands to "play" in the workshop

Some companies will spot weld and ship small packs 5s don't know depends on the company and shipping rules. One way is to have spot welded in parallel and shipped as 4.2volt 3p 4p ect. Then you can make 5s 6s ect for your charger. Then 10s 12s. Whay I'm I trying to overvolt you again. Whoops sorry . 14s
