The original bike from the sales promo:
Replaced front forks to accomodate hub motor.
Replaced rear wheel with lighter more efficient one.
The original cranks are cast iron! Replaced with alloy.
10s 8ah Lipo pack.
Controller fitted to a custom box with isolation switch.
The battery box is clamped to the frame using brackets designed to hold spot lights on a bull bar of a 4WD.

A nice fun low cruiser.

that's cool what is the name of that frame?

I got the bike from a Perth importer:

http://krankcycles.com.au

It's a made in China thing. Looking at it, all I have left from the original bike is the frame, chain and hand grips.
It was $295 local pickup.
Note the rear dropout is only 110mm otherwise I would have used a rear hub motor, something I did not notice when I bought it.
Still it has been a fun build. I will ride it to work over the coming weeks and let you know how it goes.

Choppers rule,nice tidy build.

I took the long way to work yesterday, around 20km with a slight head wind. The batteries got down to 38.2v so still a bit in the tank. That was with some pedalling mainly uphill because of the low gearing. I have geared it up a bit now.
I am pretty happy with it as a commuter, longer trips will need a bigger battery but after 20km you need a break.

I rebuilt this bike with a rear drive q100 motor. I removed the spacer and cut more thread on the Q100 axle to get it into the narrow rear dropouts. Turned the battery around and put the controller under the seat.
Some styling appointments:
Springer front end
Sturmey archer drum brake
4.5" Bobber headlight converted to take 1000lm LED bike light with external Lion pack.
Hot rod red LED number plate bolts in rear frame ends.
Custom LED tail light.

Still to come
Grey continental Retro tyres
Rear disk brake.
