Hello all,

I bought an ebike and happy about it until I accidientally reset the VESC setting.
I was able to reconnect the bike but the bike no longer powerful.
Power will cutoff very soon I max out the throttle.
May I know if there are any setting that I should look into?
Thank you for much for all of your help!!!

Here's the limited information I know about the bike.

Motor (1500W, 48V) - which wrriten on the motor
The seller told me that he upgraded to a 72v controller and 72v battery. The battery pack is 12.8 Ah

I would recommend first asking the seller to send you the VESC config they used. Otherwise you have a lot of manual tuning to do, and will end up having to learn how the VESC setup software all works and what the settings are for.

Before you do *anything* else, though, I recommend first taking screenshots or pictures of *every* dialog and page in the VESC setup software after reading the config of the controller as it is right now, and also saving the config as a file on your computer. This gives you a point to go back to when you change something that makes it not work at all.

I'd recommend strongly doing this *every* time you make a change, any change, just one change, and doing it for every single change you make (since it is not easy to remember all those setup options or numbers).

If the VESC was reset completley to factory setup defaults, you'd have to also retune it to the motor parameters, as it will not typically work very well until the controller has been matched to the motor. If it has an autotune, you can try running that to see if it helps, but it doesn't always correctly "read" the motor and then still requires retuning manually.

If none of the VESC specialists here chime in, you can look around ES; there are a number of VESC-based controller threads here on the forum that may have some help with this, as well as the VESC main project site VESC Project .
