This will be my new project for a guy who want to start a business of personal commuters exclusive of metropolitan in a big country of the earth

No gyro, with a pendulum as a switch to control a worm gear motor pushing the trike to neutral of Resultant vector force straight to the trike

The trike will be propelled by a 5kw hub motor, 60 km/hr max speed

Also refer to my tilting cargo trike thread

Hi Hodala.
Nice idea. I have a question though. Wouldn't the pendulum be affected by cornering force? As I read it, centrifugal ( or is it centripedal ) force would push the pendulum outward, causing the trike to want to stand up just when you want it to lean. Keep at it though!

The pendulum have to be affected by centrifugal force to connect the circuit then the motor push the trike against the centrifugal force until the pendulum align with the trike

I had ever build a prototype with a small motor without passenger, it works!
In fact the prototype built by a Chinese mechanic,he always did the projects 80%~90% then quit without saying anything, wasting my times

Oh, now I get how it works. Thank you. I see another advantage would be that the trike stays upright when riding across or parked across a slope. Am I right? Clever & elegant engineering mate.

That's right! although the response of this low tech control gear is not as quickly as gyro, better than regular vehicles slam you on the wall when cornering, and the pendulum had better accompany with damper

Another guy want a tilting 4 wheeler to work on his orchard on hill, I just pick my previous work and revise the rear wheel span that capable of hauling bucket

2 rear wheel drive, each motor is 1 kw

These 2 type of Tilting 3 and 4 wheeler projects may or may not go on building, there are some factors- -customer's credit, how long will it completed, affordable or not- -

Although there is no deal at last, I'd updated new models in my computer's data bank

I'm back to this active lean trike subject with my cargo bike

Replace the mono shock absorber to duel set with a swing arm in the middle,a pair of gears applied to the swing arm and a reduction gear box motor fixed to the frameActive Lean 230102b.JPGView attachment 2

A pendulum switch in front of the sus arms control the motor to tilt the frame that always make the frame identical to composite vector of gravity and centrifugal force
