There has gotta be a map of publicly available charge ports. I don't mean commercial full sized EV charge ports, but standard 110v plugs that are useful to us ebikers.

At the very least I wouldn't mind maintaining a list of local places that have them for my own convenience. Hopefully it'd help me out in a situation where a restaurant owner would question my use of the plug, "Well it was on the LEV charge port map, and that's the only reason I came here." Making it clear the only reason I'm there is because they'll let me use $0.05 of electricity is key to opening up charge ports to ebikers!

Edit:

Started a map in google maps. Got two places in my town up... add your own!

Seems to me that every place that has a Coke/Pepsi machine outside is a valid candidate!

Good on you for initiative, KF

Errrm... watt KF said. Better than 80% of outdoor plugs are live, EVerywhere. And if ya are urban, they really are *EVerywhere*. NEVer bothered to introduce most of the time, but any owner/manager should understand if ya explain you are sucking less than one kWh...
