Started to disassemble my board that caught fire and found something totally unexpected. Spun the drive wheel by hand and noticed it quite wobbly. Took the wheel off and found some of the spokes had broken. Took a look at my other wheels and all of them seem fine. Seems like these wheels can't be used for e-boarding. The plastic they use must be different from what is used on the Abec 11 flywheels. Has anybody else had similar problems with these wheels.

not yet, but I'm afraid now, can you post a pic of the broken spokes?
Looks like there are cracks at the base of the spokes that run all the way from the front to back of the wheel. The area around where the wheel bearing sits has broken off in some places just below the spoke area on both the front and back. I wonder if running a 15mm pulley/belt places a bigger stress on the wheel compared to a 9mm pulley/belt assembly. What are you running on your set-up?
