MiniDyno motor test bench..scaleable 0-50kW

Aha! so i guess you don't use it any longer since the Nuc is delivering.
It'll be fun to see on the dyno. I am connecting my old Votol EM72150 as well, i'll see if i can get it to work again. It probably won't be a good match for the 80100 motor i got but what the heck :wink:
 
Slowly getting there: 80100 drive mounted, replaced the banana plugs on the motor with xt150 connectors for the SFOC5 controller and hooked it up.

I miss a track cog for the chain drive and a throttle, i’ll fix it during next week, then it’s time for the first run!
 
Struck again by the stupid chain standard variations. I got a track cog but it doesn't fit with the chain for the lower sprocket.

1/2" pitch bike sprockets are 081 standard
1/2" pitch industrial sprockets are 08B standard
The roller diameters of these two are not the same.. #40 or 428 motorcycle chain fits the taperlock sprocket i have on the dyno but not the track sprocket on the motor.

I've ordered a new taperlock sprocket for the motor in 08B standard from https://www.zahnriemen24.de/

Just found the dyno in my basement, have had too many other projects so this got pushed back and forgotten.
At least i’ll do a few runs with it now :wink:
Got some new sprockets for the dyno that fits the old revolt motor:
