Older non-disc (screw on adapter compatible) Amped bikes kit.
48 volts of (tired) lead.
Amped bikes torque arm.
Thumb throttle with wired red button as on off switch.
I pretty much bought it this way almost a year or so ago. Only a few minor mods since then, mirror, speedometer, brakes, and then new tires today.
I have plans to keep this nicely built bike stay up to date, and get better as the funds show themselves. :wink:
Top speed with knobbies using tired lead... 27mph. I cant wait to see what it will do with these tires now, though 27mph is already pushing my limits, and I have been thinking of down grading to 36 volts.
Almost forgot to ask my question! Would switching from 48 volt old lead acid batteries to 36 volt LifePo4 be much of a loss in performance really? (other than range,and weight)
