Hi
I am from norway and new on this forum. I have lot on net and could not find the right noe in the jungel of controller s.
I have a old ebike ( Liberty Electric 443 mountain) and the controller has blown. (Wzkd3615ka-hd4 brushless intellect 1:1 controller)
the bike has trottle, motor brake handeles, pas, and 25kmh limit.
The motor is a rear hub 250W, with 3 phace wire and 5 signal wire.
There are not a lcd, but a battery indicator 3 led lamp.
I have made my own battery pack with Headaway 4015 15ah cell.
I have made it as 3 x 12v with 3 x 15A BMS. So i use it in serial in connector for 36V on ebike. (Another connector for paralell 12V use)
I want to keep it street legal. In norway the ruls are than the bike can giv you more power for a short time when climbing a hill ex, in any speed under 25kmh (manny long hills in Norway)
Then I think that I ned a controller with lcd display. Normaly max output power 250W, boost for a short time 350-500W.

Anyone Who can help me pick the right one ?

Looked at 36V KT controller with display at aliexpress.com

I like Elifebike controllers. They are smooth, quiet and reasonably priced.

You should use the 810 display with it. It is only 4 light state of batt. charge, 3 light speed limit and on/off light.
They are available on US Ebay from vendor diyebike. which saves a lot on shipping. No sure about Europe.

Thanks for reply.
This controller will work like my old one, it vil not give me a boost, or am I wrong?

That one is very low power like the original, rated 10 Amps.
Do you want a boost?
Then use the ELB 9-FET 350 Watt (17 Amp).
It is a little bigger, but nice for geared mini motors,
BMS Battery has a varity of controllers that would work for you, depends on what you want.

Thanks for good replyes.
it is important that the controller normaly only gives max 250W and only gives boost for a short time using trottle or tumb switch or lcd panel switch. That is the only way I can get it street legal, includ 25kmh speed limit and pas. Over 6kmh the hub motor has to stop running after 2 m witout pedaling and with brake switch mounted, 5 m.
My priorety are climbing not speed.
