Need Help Finding A Freewheel

I have a Magnum Metro with a Das Kit drivetrain. It has an 8 Speed 1x8 Shimano Acera Derailleur, 11-32T Cassette. When I was shopping for parts to refurbish it (the motor has gotten very noisy) with a new wheelmotor (also 500 watt Das Kit) I was told that virtually all Shimano gear clusters were splined, not threaded, so I got the appropriate splined assembly. Well, guess what? My new hubmotor (I still don't know about the original, which I won't be touching once it's off) is threaded. So what I need is a freecassette that is compatible with the above 8 speed derailleur, and is threaded. Can anyone help me, or am I screwed? I don't want to try to swap on the cluster from the bike, because the freewheel inside was acting up last year. I oiled it externally and it settled down, but it's getting squirrelly again. I suppose I could try removing it (I do have the tool), removing and replacing the freewheel, unless it's built-in, but I'm in poor health and this job is already almost too much for me.

Most hub motors are threaded freewheel. Only a few on the market are available to accept cassettes. You search them as ‘freewheel’ for threaded type, and ‘cassette’ when you have one of them that are freehub type.

Freewheels are available in a variety of cogs number and sizes to match the ratio that you need.

Don't think you will find an 8 speed freewheel that goes down to 11T. DNP makes freewheels that have 11T small gears, but I believe they're all 7 speed.

I hate to lose top speed, but if that's what it takes to keep 8 speeds and get the bike done...So are all threaded freewheels the same threads?

There are a few dozen models on aliexpress, for every speed. If you think freehub cassettes are rare you didn't look in the right places.

It isn't so much I thought they were rare, as I was told that Shimanos are rare in that configuration.

How fast is the shipping from AE these days?

Bunch of different ones here:

No affiliation, but that's where I got my 9 speed 11-32. I'm sure other online retailers have many of these, too, although many are soldout - I think finding an actual shimano might be tough.

IF this one will directly replace mine, I don't care what brand it is as long as the freewheel holds up. Thanks!

Dimension has a decent reputation for products with good functionality, but says "sold out" on the one you identified. The old freewheel may be difficult to remove. FME, may need to put the tool (insert) in a vise and turn the wheel to get enough torque to remove it.

SunRace makes 8, 9, and 10-speed freewheels intended for e-bikes with hub motors. (They're a bad idea for conventional pedal bike freewheel hubs, whose axles bend or break when they're overhung far enough for that many speeds.).

I have a new wheel with no gear cluster, just a threaded post - the old freewheel is on the OEM wheel, which I have to immediate plans to fix.

I can't seem to find the 11-32T I need.

The only 8-speed freewheels that have been made with 11t high gear (e.g. DNP Epoch) are pretty much garbage-- very cheaply made and poor quality. It's a bad idea to use the 11t sprocket more than very occasionally anyway. It wears the chain disproportionately, which then transfers the wear to the other sprockets.

Why do you think you need 11-32?

P.S. -
There isn't such a thing as a "freecassette". Cassettes are splined; freewheels are threaded.

Why do you think you need 11-32?

Because the highest ratio is barely high enough to keep up with the highest assist speed, which is only 22MPH indicated - less actual.

In another topic it was noted that these things are sometimes called freecassettes. I wanted to get a lot of responses. I should have known that "whatever you say is WRONG." ;)

Time for a larger front chainring, then. I use a 13-34 freewheel and a 52t chainring (with 29” wheel) on the faster of my ebikes, and I can pedal along even at 30mph.

I suppose - assuming I'd be able to get the crank apart. I'll have to look and see if that is needed, or if the chainring will come off with just one crank removed. I can't emphasize enough how bad my health is, though: many nights I can't even ride the bike, much less work on it.
