PAS design/ pedelecs design / control question

Thinking abojt my idea, first think one would need is proper electric switch to cut the power on the brake lever, and maybe some progressive regen braking when further squeezed

You don't need all that. JUst back pedal a smidge. Or, hit the brakes. The level of assist, is adjustable. So, like another said, hit the throttle a smidge, and go faster, or stop pedaling for a moment.

Me, I just stop pedaling. I slow to say 20, then pedal again. I have 29er, 32mm marathon plus tires. I roll for days.

You don't need and cant really use regen. The main thing is, I keep amps down to say ten, when at cruise. This uses little batt. I always pedal up to speed. I might go 75 miles on charge. Or more. As long as you keep pas level under five, on BBSHD, the assist is not enough to be even slightly dangerous. If you go over that, you cant pedal anyway.
