Programming ASI BAC8000 vs Sevcon Gen 4 Size 6

Hello! I'm looking for some real world experience with these 2 units - ASI BAC8000 and Sevcon Gen 4 Size 6. I've heard good and bad when it comes to programming, can anyone lend some insight on experience with the 2, possibly some positives and negatives of each?

ASI BAC can be a real pain but you might be able to find help, either paid or maybe free here in the forums, depending on the motor.

Best to buy as a kit from a quality motor seller known for good service, hopefully they know how to tune it to the motor properly.

Sevcon is 10x worse, real engineer-level members with tons of experience have spent months and lots of money, finally gave up swore never to touch them again.

If anyone knows a Sevcon guru located anywhere in the world even available for $200 an hour (cheap!) they haven't shared about them here.

Borg Warner wants only large volume OEMs as customers.
