screen lights but nothing written. HELP!

hi!
my materials: 48v lifepo4 20ah battery, 1000w motor brushless, infineon 20a controller (ebay, may 2010 comcycleusa), CA version with two buttons (ebay, june 2010 comcycleusa)
my problem: my CA lights on but nothing is written.

without the CA, everything is OK.

when CA is connected, the bike doesn't ride.

the wires are as i can see on internet (CA and controller)
when the CA lights on, the r9 resistor starts to warm too much (i've changed the first, burned; the new one is 470ohm 1/4w, still the same problem),(and so i just put on a few seconds not to burn the other resistor)

any ideas?

contact ebikes.ca .... i had a few units from that batch go bad on me.. they replaced it in quick fashion and all is good now.

Also looks like your Shunt is defective ( black molded box between your controller and battery) which then is connected to the CA

do they send a new and then i send them my old, or do i need to send my broken one before they send a new one?
(i've tried to fix the problem, so maybe they wont accept my old one)

Send them yours and they send you a new one, usually.. they are really good about supporting their CA's ... and this R9 problem is a known defect on a production batch, i'm 99% sure it won't be a problem that you have opened it up. 8)

Just in case other poeple have the same problem but one year later, does anybody know how to fix the problem by himself?

if it is the problem, do you know how to verify the shunt is really defective? do you know how to fix it?

on internet it is said:
pin6 of the infineon controller goes to Ebrake pin. http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=7361

is it normal?
