Hello, I hot-rodded an E-Moto Ridge 4.5 E-bike to go from 24 volt at 250 watt to 48 volt at 800 watts. The bike performed just fine for around 2 months of constant use going 28 MPH when it used to go only around 15 MPH. However, yesterday, a clicking sound developed and the planetary gears stripped out right after that. I can't seem to find any information on the type of motor this is as E-Moto is long out of business and the motor doesn't seem to have identification markings on it other than some numbers that don't pull up anything useful when looked up online. I am looking to either replace the gears, or the whole clutch assembly, but I am not sure where to find compatible ones. The gears themselves are 28T and 6mm shaft diameter, but I haven't been able to find any 6mm shaft diameter gears for sale. At this point, I am thinking of replacing the whole clutch assembly but would need help with finding one that would be compatible with this motor. If I provided the dimensions of the motor, would it be possible to find another clutch assembly that would work (possibly like one from Bafang)? How difficult would it be to find a clutch assembly that meshes with the hub motor's gear?
