what u think of these solid looking wheels? They look great, as does the whole bike in my opinion, but I imagine they must suck in a big wind. Maybe the rear wouldn’t be noticeable but the front wheel looks even dangerous if caught a strong gust by surprise. Or maybe it’s no bicycle and the high rotation weight holds it.

To me that looks like a render, and not an actual image. And anyway, a quick google for other pictures of them suggests that they're simply wheel covers, which can be removed if the rider doesn't like them.

The guys who sell those tried to get me to buy a 300$ set once lol for the 73 I built. They run a facbook group and hold it tight. Lol. Block anyone who talks bad about the wheel covers. I dont know how you could pay that much for 20 min of work on a CNC router and 10$ of plastic.

Nope.

Aerodynamics really start making a difference in cars and motorcycles after bout 100mph form my experience.

What are you building with them?
I think cyclists use them for less drag
I’m not building anything with them just wondering why they would make them and also wondering what people thought of this new motorcycle

So they’re just plastic covers. I guess could be argued they help with aerodynamics (while the rider is sitting full-frontal) or easier to clean..or they look cool.

So they’re just plastic covers.

yes.

Hardley Ableson makes some solid aluminum production rims but they are heavy and everything Hardley Ableson sucks. those are the only * solid * production MC rims that i know of retail.
Here is the hardley Ableson rim.

...... here is RAID DYNAMICS, those guys who have been proliferating the wheel covers. 300$ a set.

Lol. I honestly could make/sell these for 100$ a set and still double my $$.

.....here is Johnny V. offering a discount code and a review. He posted this in my group recently.

Here is a pic from the RAID DYNAMICS site.
