Found some Russians to USE them with success on their homebuilds:

The bike looks brutal with Cromotor:

How much?

48 of the larger ones would make a nice 24s2p pack 17" x 12" x 5" and with 24AH even a moderately powerfull ebike would only be pulling 2c peaks.

US $ 10 - 25 / Piece
I guess this depends on how many you order.
If you check their store here, than it is 13USD/per cell

I would guess that lifepo4 would be comparable to other lifepo4. Rated at 3c. But in use, much happier if limited to 1 to 1.5c. Ping cells for sure really hated a 3c spike. I don't think they will stay balanced for shit if you spike em 5 c.

You would need a custom frame to carry as much as 20 ah in the triangle, and even that much would be iffy for a 40 amps controller.

Cool. I can believe that stuff a lot more from somebody like you, than from somebody selling them.

I just have to paint them all in tar and feathers the same, till they get in peoples hands for real testing.

How many years did they last at 5c? Or is that test still in progress. It's a dilemma, what actually works in the real world takes time to road test. 5c is not unheard of for lifepo4 so it's plausible for sure.

But remember all the excitement about headways being 5c? Then a year or so later they were being called deadways by people that used them at 5c.
