I've been shopping for a used DH bike, but being really tall I need a really long reach. There is not much for sale except things that are within the past couple years. There are two main aluminum bikes that I find. One has a threaded BB the other a press fit. Should I try really hard to stay threaded?

The other question I have is that most of the modern frames look like a 36t is all that will fit. I assume that on a Cyclone kit that the larger rings are spaced out, but without having the bike here should I be concerned that the setup won't work.

Here are the two main bikes I find:

The 17 Process may allow the Cyclone to be in the main triangle. That would be my preference, but it is a pressfit. There are some other bikes, but most suffer the same things these do. Not a great spot for the motor/battery and many are PF. What compromise would you take if this were your build?
