If you were to use C shaped coils, and have the magnets pass through the opening, effectively utilizing both north and south poles of the magnets, how much torque increase could be expected?Schermafbeelding 2023-10-11 om 21.43.30.png
Coolant line could easily be run through the centers, cooling the coils without removing essential silicon steel. More copper area is exposed compared to normal motors.

Due to the shape, the copper density on the outside of the C shape would be a bit lower, leaving some gaps when the inside is packed closely. But then the second layer of windings might cover this. The inside can be more layers as they can be cooled.
