Ultimate Portable PC with FREE Wi-Fi and 3G service?!!?

That Notion Ink is incredible! I have to wonder with all the bells and whistles (GPS, accelerometer) it might burn through power pretty fast, and I wonder what it will run to have 3G service. I would love something like that on the road, however, I might have to wait until I get a bit better situated financially before I can spend $500.

Last I checked they were saying that with the Pixel-Qi display it would have standby time of several days. Since they are putting in an actual GPS now (before they got delayed they were going to put in AGPS), that might draw a bit of power, but I'm sure you can turn it off when you're not using it. For 3G, any SIM for a carrier on the frequencies the radio they put in it should work. Unfortunately, they haven't released yet what frequencies it works on.
