    Help with connectors for BBS-02 36v, 350W

Trying to get my BBS-02 (36V, 350W) going again after sitting for a few years in a closet. I bought it from Lectric Cycles a few years back but they are out of business so can't go to them for help. Here is a description of what I have followed by a question- hoping the experts here at the...

    The Trek XM700+

Very nice! This is great competition to the Turbo, you don't have to pay $5000 or $6000 to go 28 mph. The rear fender looks way too short in the back though to be effective. Trek requires a dealer to order a number of ebikes if they want to be able to sell them, so will probably be hard to find...

Is this really all I need to make an e-bike?

No the 42t was an add-on (got the spider adapter that lets you use a standard 130 bcd road chainring). Then just used the single 42 ring that came with my bike. Standard mega range casette in rear- must be same as yours. Forgot to mention about the 2 special BB tools you will need to install...

Is this really all I need to make an e-bike?

Ha dude I just electrified my 2015 Edgerunner with a 500 w BBS02 and 36v Allcell battery. Kit was originally purchased for a commuter bike but plans changed once I saw how the weight of the motor & batt affected it. Purchased my kit from Lectric cycles so it includes the gearshift sensor...

Advice requested for e-bike kit for Yuba Mundo

I don't know if this will help you, but I live in the Chicago burbs and just bought an xtracycle edgerunner and plan to fit it with. A 500 W bbs02 from my commuter bike powered by a 36v Allcell summit battery. You're welcome to come check it out. If I didn't already have the bbs02 kit, I'd...

    bbs02 chain slipping. 8 speed?

That chain looks way too short. Also if you are running a double setup in the front, try to avoid cross-chaining. I.e., large in front, large in rear, or small in front, small in rear. That's just the road biker in me saying this stuff. :D

1st Timer Build Advice- Flat bar fast commuter for midwest

Newbie here, recently test rode a Specialized Turbo and it was an eye-opener (in several ways:) Almost bought the "plain" Turbo model (around $3800) but after doing some research, seems like DIY can give you more bang for your buck. Plus, I would like something a little faster than the "down...
