Looks good. I had the same idea to mount the display on the top tube to protect it in case of a crash. But I will use a carbon plate instead of wood :mrgreen: .

Welcome! :-) The symptoms were absolutely the same with my throttle. So I am pretty sure that the resistor will fix your problem.
