With the right gearing and you adding in about 300 watts of pedaling, you can definitely hit 35 mph. My bbs02 tops out at 32 but could definitely make it with higher gearing.

Can you post a link to the circuit you are using? I tried using one of the diagrams I found, but could not get it to work.

I can pretty much go up anything with my bafang mid drive; however, you need to secure that rear axle since the Yuba has large horizontal dropouts. See pic.
