I have only ridden my packs down to 3.75 volts. I have never had to push them farther. The controller will shut off around 18-19 volts depending on what it was set it. You can change this with a GoProgrammer but they are nearly impossible to find these days

the stator turns on brass bushings. There aren't any bearings in the motor. They are quite ineffecient

That looks very nice. We have to run huge W/h set ups because the stock motors are brushed and quite inefficient

You can buy several packs of lipo cells that will last you 2000 cycles for less than the price of both of those systems. And then you won't need to worry about discharge rates. Running the discharge rate near the maximum will greatly bring down the life of the batteries

I would suggest putting some padding down under the batteries in the pan. Dirt will get into the pan and under the batteries. That can be bad with shaking
