    Thunder 1220 charger issues.

My thunder 1220 charger screen goes dim after about a minute on the charger. It doesn't discharge at all. When it does charge it doesn't show cell voltage. I read a review that someone had the same problem. I'm looking to either try and fix it or replace it with something comparable, maybe...

GNG Gen2 mid drive with Fat bike (100mm BB)

I'm pretty sure with a bunch of spacers for the motor housing and a 100mm square taper bb it would work. I mounted my old gen 2 on 100mm by cutting the motor plate and adding a bunch of washers to space it out.

Help with converting pc power supply.

I just edited the post above to say that i had resistors on all the plugs. I'm not a computer guy so i don't have parts around. Do you feel the resistors have would be sufficient on all the loads?....I'm just trying to get it to do something that resembles any hope in getting it to work. Full...

Help with converting pc power supply.

Mine is atx .2.3, specifically a thermaltake tr2 450w not sure if they added more safety switches and cutoffs in the design. As it sits now the charger is plugged in to the 12v, the green wire is jumped, I'm getting 5v at the purple and 17v at the gray, .4v between red and black before the...

Help with converting pc power supply.

I have a newer 450 watt ATX with the 24 pin connector...it only has one voltage signal wire that the newer ones have, a brown one shared by another brown that i soldered together......I took apart one of my old chargers to get at the resistors, 6 10 watt 4ohms. I tried all sorts of different...

    Power supply hissing noise

I have a thunder t350 that gives my charger low voltage errors even though it shows 14v. I was wondering what could cause the hissing and if it could be easily repaired. I left the charger plugged into the power supply not charging anything and the PS was on, hot and was making a hissing...

    788 spot welder

I use a micro switch on the electrode tip and hold it like a pencil and press the lever with my index finger. No issues with the switch even though i wondered how it could handle the cycles.

    788 spot welder

I was looking at the chinese welder but eventually decided make a mot welder. Works fantastic. I would never go back to soldering cells. I tried it a few times but didn't feel safe doing it because i had a few start to smell. Welding cells is a game changer.

    1220 thunder chargers

I recently bought bought the 1220 charger as well as a thunder t350 power supply. When i was using the PS it would show "low car battery" within a few seconds to a minute. I put the charger on a SLA and it worked normal. I sent both back to hobbypartz to replicate the problem and let them...

Bafang BBs02 internal retaining nut tool

Thanks i eventually used needle nose pliers and turned the shaft with a vise grip on the other end. It came off fairly easily. My new problem is how to get the shaft out of the carrier...I tried hitting it a few times on the retaining nut side but it didn't go anywhere. I don't want to hit it...

Bafang BBs02 internal retaining nut tool

Does anyone have a clever way of making or using existing tool to remove this. I have minimal means of making tools but i have plenty of junk i could probably use. I just opened it up and noticed a lot of grit on the gears....I would recommend anyone with the kit past 200 miles to open it up...

http://imgur.com/UaRlkDC http://imgur.com/MMuewH2 ne of my new hobbyking batteries has a big dent in it from shipping. I guess hobbyking thinks all the package air packets should be on top and all the loose heavy things should be flopping all around on the bottom. This is my first lipo...

    What causes a voltmeter to read a dead 18650 cell @ 150v?

I have a 15ah 13s pack were the 6th bank of cells reads 150v. Individually, each cell reads 120v to 170v. Multimeter is an innova 3320. When tested the dead bank along with another bank it was only a fraction of a volt higher. This leads me to believe these cells are dead but i don't know...

increasing voltage to 48v on MAC motor

I charged my 48v battery on a 12v charger in parallel. The connector was able to disconnect the continuity and allow a bunch of small alligator clips to be connected parallel directly on the contacts. you can follow the connections clipped and unclipped and see how it works.

Simple, i don't know if you saw but i posted earlier that the cheapo on off switch is suspect in my battery problems....i'm twisting the wires together now but plan on putting in a quality switch. If it was on and i shook it then it would turn off, perhaps if it's off it could possibly be...
