3SHUL AS5047P encoder kit installation on QS motor

Hi everyone !

The question is on the title !
I've tried to find an answer on other topics but never seen something...

I would like to install my 3SHUL AS5047P on my QS 138 70H V3 motor, but no information supplied until now from 3SHUL. Is ther anyone who have tried/succeed to this operation ? And if there are advice/pictures/video/tuto/steps to follow ?

Is this necessary? Does it offer any improvement over the stock encoder?
I ask because I'm about to do a first bench run on my QS180+CL1400 .

The 138 70h has hall sensors, so it is a change to encoder.

Yes, my understanding is that I can use the ABZ encoder on the 180 with the VESC drive. It didn't autodetect it today, but I'm not too fussed at this point.
