73mm BB Torque sensor options?

So I'm building up a new ebike commuter to replace my current bionx based bike (Thanks Paul from em3ev for letting me change my mind twice after I placed the order).

I want to use a Surly Troll frame which has a 73mm BB. From what I can tell Thun only makes 68mm bottom brackets. I really love how the bionx feels and works (especially after i unlocked it) and want to replicate it the best I can with my new setup.

I wanted to put a THUN on my Ogre, but alas, I have the same predicament as you. I was told you "could" shave down the sides of the 73mm bracket to make it fit. I'm the type of person who doesn't like to heavily modify stuff, so I didn't pursue the endeavor.

Yah it looks like I'll be buying something else. Probably a Tout Terrain.

Just checking to see if anyone had any insights in the last month. I have my bike built up now but a PAS sensor is a poor substitute for a toque sensor.

I bolted a thun into my Norco Storm 29'er .. with 73mm bb .. and it works so far !

The splines do not engage fully as they " should " but no severed wires yet.
