Acting on Pompeo’s recommendation, Trump abruptly terminated Steve A. Linick late Friday night, again challenging established norms of American governance in his push to rid the federal bureaucracy of officials he considers insufficiently loyal to or protective of him and his administration."
And our democracy falls deeper into the grip of a pathocracy, led by 'der fuehrer'... Donald J. Trump. How has this nation's moral compass swung so low? No fake news here as live TV broadcasts, the daily lies, misinformation, dangerous medical advice, pandering, threats, and senseless firings that so many consider a badge of honor, to be bestowed on this man. Is this the future of our American culture? A culture expounding entitlement and privilege, disregard for civility, and the law. Who rush to declare their freedom, regardless of their reckless protests.
When will America wake up to what is happening to our nation's system of governance? Purging the administration of incompetence is one thing, but to have over 400 firings/forced retirements in 41 months is pathological. When will we return to leadership that is about, a Government of the People, by the People, and for the People, and not about himself?
This bears repeating... “again challenging established norms of American governance in his push to rid the federal bureaucracy of officials … he considers insufficiently loyal to or protective of him and his administration.” It's not about you as an American citizen, not our governing system, not our democracy, not our Constitution. It's only about his seeking the glorification of... himself.
