CA 2.1 upgrade to high voltage?

I have an older CA, version 2.1. The manual specs say 15-100v, and 20-200v optional. How do you upgrade it to >100v?
I am looking to run it on a 121v fully charged battery, maybe up to 150v.

Or am I just better off getting a newer version such as 2.3?

I got this response from Justin last month

replace the 200 kOhm capacity circled here with one that is
about 350 K:

There is also a backlight resistor
on the LCD module that will need to be changed as well,
it's likely on the order of 300-500 ohms, and this
should be increased to a 1kOhm resistor.
