I think I'm going to end up getting a 500w Cyclone kit, just looking for batteries now.

Does anyone know if the LiFePo4 batteries that cyclone-tw offers with their kit are any good?

Other than that, how are the Hobby King lipos? I only need about 10ah, and the hobby king lipo is much much cheaper than going LiFePo4. Weight is a big factor for me since this will be on a folder and I'll have to shoulder the bike a couple times a day.

Thanks!

If going 24v, makew sure batteries/BMS can deliver 40 amps minimum, as the 500w cyclone has over 1000w peak.

My son has a Cyclone 500 and uses a Ping 30 amp battery. It works very well. I understand the Cyclone 500 is hard on batteries and needs a battery of size. 10 amps may be a disappointment when it comes to range. I would consider at least 20 amps for the Cyclone 500.
