Hi, did anyone see this? - http://cgi.ebay.com/LiFePO4-12S-BMS-for-Electric-Scooter-E-Bike-Battery_W0QQitemZ170303279565QQihZ007QQcategoryZ11332QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I've been buying Ping's (signa lab) BMS for building 18650 based packs and wondering if this is worth it. I' don't even know what voltage its for (it says 24,36, and 48v).

I don't know enough about these to know if components or function is there. Thanks

Cammys BMS is for LiFePo cell voltage range.
If you have Li-Ion 18650 cells then it won't work.

Yikes !!! - it never occurred to me that 18650 cells are Li-Ion.

I'd just did some search looking for several different brands and it either says Lithium or Li-Ion.

The reason why I didn't think was that I've bought it from Mr.Lau/MP3/HK and he listed it as Lifepo4. So all those people that bought similar battery also have Li-Ion.

So why the hell is he using Ping's BMS (Signalab) ??? - does it do anything?

Does anyone know where I could get single cell Li-Ion charger? I think thats the only way - no?

luckily I'm building A123 cell and just going to trash the 18650 pack this season.

18650 is a battery size designation. It reads 18mm diameter by 65.0mm length, check it out.

There could be spam in that battery case for all anybody knows.
