I recently managed to get a new build more or less roadworthy but there's a problem regarding rim and spokes.
What rims do you guys use under heavy usage? Mine have been powercircle rims and 3mm thick spokes so far but spoke nipples get loose and rims crack way too easily.
Current build has 9c 205 (2807) hub, 12S life battery and controller limited to ~25A with a mod.
Bike has around 200kgs total weight with me on it and sure is rear heavy but shouldn't the load be still maintainable by such setup and/or is there better choice for the rim under such heavy loads?

Bike so far:
Frame from savenmaa (http://kauppa.savenmaa.fi/PublishedService?file=page&pageID=9&itemcode=kenopyora , sorry, Finnish only but afaik, same frame has been for sale in USA by wallmart too)
Motor from ebikewheel (http://www.ebikewheel.com/ , 9C local provider which built the 20" rim kindly at decent price)
Controller, PAS, brake handles, bits'n'pieces from bmsbattery (https://www.bmsbattery.com/ , prices were unbeatable, had to hack the controller though myself as I ordered wrong voltage one and there was some room for improvement according to DC-bus and whatnot)
Battery from ev-power (http://www.ev-power.eu/ decent prices for cells and batteries within EU compared to shipping costs and possible VAT if the shipment gets caught by customs as well as eager sales/tech personnel to help on questions)

3mm is a 11 gauge spoke. Thats a common size for mopeds and light motorcycles, Not bicycles. Its no supprise that your rim is cracking, a spoke that thick wouldn't be able to flex with a bicycle rim and would crack it fast.

Usualy you wouldn't want a spoke above a 2mm, 14 gauge with a bicycle rim. But you are carrying 440lbs (200kg) and thats above what a bicycle rim can normaly survive.

Probably your best option is to run a 16" moped rim and tire. 16" motorcycle/moped wheels are the exact same size as 20" bicycle rims. They are just measured diffrently.
