new controller downgrade and range

Hi all,i was running a 500w 48v controller,i thought it had died so ordered a replacement,the seller sent a 350w,when i complained they refunded me and told me to keep the controller,it was the motor that was fried from ages ago,i fitted the 350w controller,i used to get about 20 miles range with the 5oowatt controller,just using the throttle and no pas,what increase in range can i now expect to get going from 500 watt to 350 watt,it i ride the same?,thanks in advance.

If you can ride your bike at the same speed as you did with the 500W controller, the range will be the same. If the smaller controller keeps you from reaching the same speed, you should have more range.
