Hi all,
I am researching methods for mounting a 5AH li-ion brick to a seatpost or stem post on a folding bike. This type of bike has an extended seat and stem post riser so it's a useful place to put stuff, especially if you have no racks on the bike. The below mounting system was a one-off project. I'm looking to find something a bit more durable than a seat bag on a Kwik-fix adapter. The advantages of the Kwik fix is that it extends the battery behind the seat post so it avoids interfering with pedalling, plus it's quick to release and has a locking mechanism. It's the seat bag I don't really have a replacement for so I'm mainly trying to find a way to replace the seat bag with something suitable. This bag is cool because it has an exit port for the battery cable.
