    Is PSWPOWER a scammer?

Have done business with them several time and have always received good service and support.

T1000 KT controller retrofit need your help.

Does this motor also use phase sensor wires? (same color, but smaller than the larger phase wires)

The never-ending rear hub vs. mid drive up hills question

Regarding the bold, something you might want to keep in the back of your mind here, is if we are talking bicycle, you need to maintain a minimum speed that will allow you to keep your balance.

Really strange KT controller issue, help please!

Nothing saying that the controller temp couldn't be one of maybe several issues stacking up on him.

Really strange KT controller issue, help please!

Still betting the controller is overheating due to no air flow to help dissipate heat.

    KT display overheating issues?? Help!

This is where I would start. Try getting the controller out into the natural air flow to see if that changes anything. You may have to modify your design a bit to make sure the controller can dissipate some of that heat.

Using a non-fat tire on the front wheel of a fatbike

No, not at all! To see it in person, you would never be able to tell it's been assembled this way.

Using a non-fat tire on the front wheel of a fatbike

I converted the rear as well, but it was much more difficult. I used the hub the bike came with, bought a 27.5 rim, then re-spoked the new rim to the original hub with a set of good spokes.

Using a non-fat tire on the front wheel of a fatbike

If this fat bike is going to be run with a conventional front wheel, it's going to need to be offset to the left for the brake to work. You can avoid all that "make it work" jazz by replacing the fattie front fork with a conventional one set up for a 27.5" or 29". Theses are cheap, starting at...

How much over-wattage can one usually get away with putting into geared hubs?

You can add way more than the motor is rated for easily. The rub comes in when you talk reliability, or just how long the motor can tolerate that kind of power without cooling down. 500w motors are routinely run up to 1000w or so. Just realize they can only be run like that for a few seconds...

Torque simulation controllers do not control torque

Wasn't talking about a history lesson. Maybe a I should have said KT does not have a controller available TODAY capable of accepting torque sensor input. If they did have one, personally I wouldn't mind giving it a try. You're entitled to an opinion regarding them, but I think they're tough to...

Torque simulation controllers do not control torque

So what I am seeing is you have a pretty unconventional install, one that I am not familiar with at all, even with you explanation. I'm not even going to try and wrap my head around all you have going on. I'll just leave it with a best of luck!

Torque simulation controllers do not control torque

What mid drive do you have? I'm not familiar with any of them that are compatible with a KT controller. Same story with the SW900 display? I'm not familiar with an SW900 that will work with a KT controller. KT controllers require a KT display...... Torque sensing bikes WILL add/subtract power...

Torque simulation controllers do not control torque

Between the wife and I, we currently have 6 bikes, and I ride every day. 4 of these bikes are set up with KT controllers, and all have the "imitation torque control" enabled. The other 2 bikes use Bafang mid drives, one of which is UART based (an Ultra), where they give you the choice or power...

Torque simulation controllers do not control torque

There's speed based PAS, and there's power based PAS. KT's "imitation torque control" is chinglish for power based PAS. It's that simple.....
