torque increases with the airgap diameter squared, it's also proportional to pole count so it increases even further on the hub motor
(205/138)^2=2,21
Power= torque*rpm/9.55
either it's torque or speed that creates the power, you choose.
Is there a setting for Torque or Speed mode?
We have a KLS96601 8080H - Serial 1903-19005478 working on a QS WP8000
The motor increases speed when the TPS control voltage is not changing and/or decreasing
We can demonstrate the problem on this video showing motor speed and voltage...
Thanks for the guidance
Have now taken this a little further
We are using a ESP32 to generate a DAC signal of between 1-3.6V
This is sent to the Kelly Controller which has a TPS input choice of 0-5v or 1-4.5v
Our signal works on either setting
The degree of throttle control is good barring one...
Hi
We would like to control the speed of our hub motor using a micro processor, an arduino or an ESP32
We are using a kelly KLS96601 8080H. Did you hook the the arduino to your the Kelly controller. How did it work out, any feedback?
I hooked up my Arduino Uno and and drove the motor command...
Looking for help on driving a hub motor via a Kelly KLS96601-8080H controller using a micro processor like an Arduino or an ESP32
Perhaps emulating the throttle pot input using 0-5v?
Has anybosy already done this, would appreciate some guidance
